Here's something I'm working on in Maya on the side, chicken legged battle mech.  I'm pretty happy with the overall layout so far and am starting to detail parts.  Looking for critiques as I go.

Yeah it's a bit early but I'm trying to get some eyes on it before I commit to anything.  Reworked the body and waist a bit yesterday, rebuilt some guns, and added T-Rex manipulator arms.

Thanks, I'm trying to keep a wide base for stability.  The torso's starting to take shape too.

Got some more work done on the legs, fleshing out the joints and the volumes.

Been watching a bunch of tutorials on lighting and rendering in Mental Ray and did a bit more modeling.  Renders are still pretty basic but they're starting to show some decent detail.  Also a friend of mine has agreed to do some concept paintings to help me flesh out details and color.

Also I have no idea why it's only offering the concept as a download.  Anyone here speak forum?

I don't know why it is only letting you put up one file. Those new renders are looking pretty sweet.
