Hey Yall, 

 

Seem to been having export issues in 3ds max to Unreal Engine 4. Why is the export ending up like this in Unreal?

Might be your pivot points in the export model -- make sure they're all zeroed out before exporting.

I didn't realize I was exporting selected in 3ds max as an FBX file. When I converted over to OBJ . The pivots were fixed so note to self. Make sure to export with OBJ for clean exporting.
